Joseph serves as a Tax Associate for the Navis Tax Team, where he plays an integral role in supporting the firm’s tax operations with a focus on QuickBooks maintenance and financial record accuracy. Leveraging his strong accounting background and attention to detail, Joseph ensures clients’ financial data is organized, reliable, and ready for seamless reporting and analysis. He is committed to delivering the precision and high level of service that Navis clients have come to expect.
Before joining Navis, Joseph gained valuable experience preparing individual tax returns and organizing client documentation during his time with Clavette & Company, a public accounting firm in Connecticut. There, he worked closely with tax professionals and developed a solid foundation in tax compliance and client service. In addition to his tax experience, Joseph has over 8 years of entrepreneurial experience running a small family landscaping business, sharpening his problem-solving skills and understanding of small business operations.
Joseph holds a B.B.A in Accounting with a minor in Financial Management from Western Connecticut State University, and is currently pursuing his CPA license. During his time at WCSU, Joseph balanced his academic studies with business operations and part-time work at Navis Tax, demonstrating his work ethic and commitment to professional growth. After graduating from WCSU, he joined Navis Tax as a full-time associate.
Born and raised in Danbury, Connecticut, Joseph continues to reside in the area. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling, and working hands-on with mechanical projects.
